There's a line that would spoil a large portion of the story, but here's the first three lines:

Our story begins in a small village in the far corner of Earth,

with a small boy and his younger sister.

But one day a tragic event happened!

Hey

I got new stuff that isn't nearly as bad as my old stuff.

It's mostly stuff from my manga, which has a plot despite being one of those incredibly violent fighting anime. It's hard to explain, but it's basically about how this dude ruins Shoujin's life without Shoujin knowing it, and there's a bunch of stuff with time travel and messing with people's minds, and I'm sorry, but I'm horrible at explaining the plots of things, even if they're my stories. ...ESPECIALLY if they're my stories. xD

This chick's name is Gofuji, her fighting style is bojutsu, but sometimes she's forced into hand-to-hand combat because this one villain dude controls everyone and everything, which is a really extreme thing the main characters have to overcome, especially Shoujin since the villain knows his true name ((everyone goes by an alias in this anime, Shoujin himself uses the name of a Gunshin who gave him his power)). The kanji says "fuji-bo", the name of Gofuji's staff. Yes, the staff is basically named after her alias. xD

UGH I really need an actual pen and ink instead of a cheep souvenir quill and ink made from paint and water. xD

Yes, her name is Kawaii. No, I am not a weaboo. That's just her alias.

She's one of the few characters who doesn't use a Japanese or Chinese fighting style, she only knows how to use daggers which often gets in the way of others when she looses her weapons. The only time this inconvenience is gone is when she unwraps the cloth around her arm, as her human body is really just a shell hiding a hideous usagi yasha ((female-demon rabbit)), and that arm was cut off of the original dead body she possessed, thus leaving her demon arm exposed. None of her original form should be exposed, as her demon body is either exposed fully or sealed inside of a complete body. Her solution for the arm was to cover it in cloth while she could still sustain the body. When in the demon state, she loses control of her shell's personality and becomes a terrible monster. Although this makes the fights against the villains easy for Shoujin and his friends, it's a pain sealing the demon back inside of the body, thus also being a distraction, though more useful.

In the end, she's just a desperate tag-along because she's a lost girl with only half control of her body and no family left to stay with.

Interesting. I like looking at all the small details hidden within both pieces, I notice a lot of clever hidden words. The first one makes me wonder why you drew the things you drew. As, after all, it is a self portrait. I also like the title of the second one, I have always believed in 'mind over matter', my brother taught it to me as we both did marshal arts.

What are your favorite bands? And art movements?

Well, I have a rather eclectic taste in music, so I couldn't really put it all here. As for art movements, if you can call it that, I guess you could say I'm mostly inspired by surreal art and anti-art, as well as the work of M.C. Escher. I'm no artist, though. It's just a hobby.

Yeah, Escherís work really does make you think, I can see why you are inspired by him.

Me, I am inspired by realism/ semi-realism, Art Deco, Brutalist Architecture, Romanticism, Art Nouveau, Gothic Architecture, Noir and Retro-futurism. My favourite artist is Edward Hopper, because of his use of colour, perspective and composition. He also uses light to make his paintings give you a sense of isolation and solitude. I would say my photography is also inspired by him.

I was inspired by a photograph I can no longer find. It was a photograph taken in New York City with a building that had similar design to this one. It was so dark and eerie, so I tried to recreate that here.
