No...it was actually a discussion...not someone that claimed to know the "language"...

Now that you mention it Johuzen and the Middle Kingdoms is really based off of China and Japan long ago and now. A long time ago in a palace very royal and special people sat all day doing nothing but sitting, and be pamperd. Thus making them not very athletic or active. Which is just like the blue owls at the Dragon Court and etc. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Actually, it's just based off China and not Japan, but yeah, you got the point. ;}

China was actually called the 'Middle Kingdom' in the 18th (I think) century.

So, Scharzoka...

What's 'nine' in Krakish?

(Sorry, I have an obsession with that number xP)

Haha, sure has! And I'm still adding to it! Very Happy I'm looking up more krakish words (and Hoolian and Jouhzen) words as we speak! XD

And hey guys, check this out- I was searching Krakish on the internet and I stumbled on this article on schoolastic, and it says they asked Kathryn about the words in her book, and she admitted she based some of her words off of Norwegian, and she even threw in some Yiddish-sounding words as well.
Here's the article, it talks about the languages all the way at the bottom of the page- http://www2.scholastic.com/browse/collateral.jsp?id=10597

It says that she mixed up the Norwegian words to create it. That's why I didn't recognize any xP

Very well done Ebee, thats a nice list ya gots dere. Although some of them have the definitions wrong or sometimes theyre spelled wrong, but other than that, youre one of the best krakish memorizing people ive seen besides me Very Happy . Take pride in that my apprentice Wink .

PS- the numbers in krakish are very similar to english, you just simply pronounce every letter(like in spanish) and add a "v" at the end. also there are no double Es. If there is double Es just take an E out(ex. threv). Another rule in krkish numbers is that there are no Us. You always take out the Us

ex.- onev(on-eh-v)
twov(tw-oh-v)
threv(th-reh-v)(E removed)
forv(For-v)(u removed)

so nine in krakish would be ninev. Rolling Eyes
Not only does krakish have different words but also it has rules in its speech. Thats why so many people of this world speak their krakish all jacked up Very Happy

Haha, yeah Gyf ^^ the only word of Norwegian I really recognized in krakish was takk x3

lol, thank you Scharzoka :3 You say you saw some errors? I'll go through the list and fix them, thanks for letting me know.

And oh, what is 'friend' in Krakish? I had it on my list, but for some reason I only have the definition and not the word... Confused

Hey Scharzoka, could you tell me which words on my list are spelled wrong?

And do you think you can translate these "sentences" for me?
"Phawish prak nraggg grash m'whocki,"
"Grachunn naghish prahnorr gundamyrr Lyze effen Kiel erraggh frisen gunda yo macht leferzundt."
"Framisch longha."
"Murischeva vorden Sorenkin y atlela heviggen Lyze y Octavia."
"Gunden vhagen."
"Mishmictah sund heelving dast,"
"vrachtung isser,"
"Youy inker planken der criffen skar di Lyze,"
"Bisshen ich von gunde goot, eh, Svall?"

And what do the words cominzee, and vingen mean?

lol, sorry for so many things, and its fine if you can't translate them, just thought I'd ask ^^ There all quotes from The Burning.

ill simply translate the bottom sentence.

"these ones don't speak so good, eh, Svall?"

Svall is Svallborgs nickname, so this phrase was directed towards him
