(decided against calling it 'Songfics of Ga'hoole'....)

Songfictions are fanfictions with song lyrics that go well with the chapter in them. So, it would be like:

Insert story paragraph here.
Insert song lyrics here

Insert another story paragraph here.
Insert more song lyrics here

---
If you post the song title and artist in the topic in Story Comments, then I'll write a GOG fanfiction chapter with the song lyrics.

You Give Love A Bad Name (requested by Inglantine):

Lil fluttered her wings, ready to fly in between Ifghar and Lyze if the fray got too serious.
"Turnfeather!" Lyze shreiked with his Whiskered Screech voice, and the rage in his eyes were interrupted when Ifghar gave an offending reply.
"I'm the turnfeather now, Ol' Lyze?!?! So you want more blood to be spilled?"
Lyze fliched." Kielian warriors don't surrender like that- they're not cowards!"
Lil fliched. She was on Ifghar's side now.

An Angel's Smile Is What You Sell
You Promise Me Heaven Then Put Me Through Hagsmire
Chains Of Love Got A Hold On Me
When Passion's A Prison You Can't Break Free

Lil hated fighting-though that didn't descrease her fighting skills. She always thought Ifghar, the one who flived with her often in an annoying way, was the real turnfeather (traitor). Lyze really was.

An army of owls were coming- they needed to get prepared and join the other Kielians.
"We need to go," she argued, "Lyze, Ifghar, put a mouse in it, we need to go to the other Kilelian warriors-"
"She's right!"Lyze said." Just get over it, Iffy!"
"Don't you dare call me 'Iffy'! and you're not winning this argument!"
Just then, the Kielian army flew in their direction, and the opposing army was flying from the opposite direction, with Lyze, Lil, and Ifghar in between them.
Lil flew between them, so the fray ceased- though a few minutes later, they were between both armies.

Lil was pecking fiercly and slashingher sword fiercly at owls of the opposing side, but lots of her feathers were oulled out- blood formed. In the distance, she could hear Ifghar's shreik of pain. His was different from the other bellows because she knew his voice as she knew Lyze's, and his was filled with defeat and regret- he didn't win the argument with his brother before this battle.

She saw Lyze, bleeding heavily, and managed to fly over to him. Then she started scolding him at Ifghar, saying that he was right. She didn't notice her wounds getting worse and worse.

You're A Loaded Gun
There's Nowhere To Run
No One Can Save Me
The Damage Is Done

"Lily, I may be wrong, but we need to fight! Dear, don't you see the battle before us? It's harder to order this army, ya' know, wnow that Ifghar isn't co-general anymore....
"Why?"
"Well...erm, because of me."
"You-you did that so you could get what you want! You care racdrops about power, I know, but you care racdrops about his ideas! You want the army to have glory, to be strong, but if you don't stop this soon and give in to Ifghar, more and more owls are going to perish, greymalkin! This is true, right?"
"Well.... you can out it that way."
"So it is!" she swished her feathers. Lyze wouldn't give in- only one way to stop this war without too many more owls slaughterred, then- she'll get the general of the other army herself. It wouldn't wack some sense into Ezylryb, but she could habdle that afterwards. Lil was an ice splinter thrown by a Kielian warrior with the wind currents favorable as she flew deeper and deeper into the fighting throng.....

You're A Loaded Gun
There's Nowhere To Run
No One Can Save Me
The Damage Is Done

"Lyze! Help!' she shreiked. Finnally, Lyze came- too late. Lil saw him flying down, then falling (his port wing was injured), and caught by an eagle who grabbed his talon. Then she felt icy water. She hadn't defeated the general. This was all because of Lyze.

Shot Through The Heart
And You're To Blame
You Give Love A Bad Name
I Play My Part And You Play Your Game
You Give Love A Bad Name
You Give Love A Bad Name

She agreed with all of his plans-all of them- which was a mistake. It took too long to realize that Ifghar had a good point- too late. If Lyze hadn't give into his brother's idea at the end, and regretted everything, one would say that he gave 'General' a bad name.

Paint Your Smile On Your Lips
Blood Red Nails On Your Fingertips
A School Boy's Dream You Act So Shy
Your Very First Kiss Was Your First Kiss Goodbye

Lyze- now Ezylryb- shreiked as his talon was grabbed by the eagle. He would give in to Ifghar- bit it was too late, all the owl kingdom thought that Ifghar was a traitor.

You're A Loaded Gun
There's Nowhere To Run
No One Can Save Me
The Damage Is Done

Early Sunsets Over- Ga'hoole (Monroeville) (requested by Mikey):

Late dawns and early sunsets, just like my favorite scenes
Then holding hands and life was perfect, just like up on the screen

Soren- who still had plenty of energy left- flew on, Pellimore beside him. His spirits lifted- he was completely confident that they will win. Coryn was about to get Nyra while they took on the Striga, Ga'hoole will triumph, the Pure Ones defeated at last..

And the whole time while always giving
Counting your face among the living

"Ready?" he asked Pellimore, smiling.
"Of course!" she chirped.
The two mates flew into battle, not noticing the Pure Ones hiding behind them in the leaves of the Great Tree until it was too late. Soren spun around- they were surrounded by Pure Ones all because he was so ignorant to notice them hiding behind him!

Up and down escalators, pennies and colder fountains
Elevators and half price sales, trapped in by all these mountains

Still confident, he held up his burning branch, charging, Pellimore doing the same in the other direction.

Running away and hiding with you
I never thought they'd get me here

They were doing good so far- the owls were starting to look tired, worn out by the heat of the fire in which they were bad at fighting with.
"Pellimore!" a Barn Owl screeched. Pelimore didn't turn as if she couldn't hear the owl.

"Pellimore! I was calling you- don't you still remember that rule? Always come when I say so?" Nyra taunted.
Nyra wasn't supposed to be here..she was supposed to be with Coryn on the other side of the tree...this was all turning out wrong!
"'I hate Soren!'" Nyra said in a mocking voice. "Remember saying that? Coryn said the exact same thing, but you were much older than him when you said it.."
Pellimore was shaking, now facing Nyra with her branch held up threatingly. "What do you want, Nyra?" she was shaking as if she were in a hurricane.
Nyra didn't say anything, greed and treachury in her eyes. She just beaked Pellimore's words- "I hate Soren."

Not knowing you'd change from just one bite
I fought them all off just to hold you close and tight

Pellimore charged- but not at Nyra. She was flying towards Soren, the flames on her burning branch dancing and her free talons extended.
"I don't want to keep getting reminded of it every time I see your face!" she shreiked, her stress disorder kicking in.
Soren was too shocked to fly anywhere- not even to duck or move out of the way from his mate. "You hated me? You hate me?"
She didn't answer, just swung at him with her branch. Soren knocked it out of her hands easily- she wasn't holding it properly. Pellimore groaned, extending her battle-clawed talons more. She slashed at his chest, leaving a long scar. She was trying to do more, but was shaking too much. Finally, she suceeded and pinned him to the very wide trunk of the Ga'hoole tree.

But does anyone notice?
But does anyone care?
And if I had the guts to put this to your head...
But would anything matter if you're already dead?
And well should I be shocked now by the last thing you said?
Before I pull this trigger,
Your eyes vacant and stained...

Soren didn't really have a choice- his branch gone too after Pelli pinned him, he extended his own talons, his claw coming closer and closer to his mate.
Pellimore flew back. She was growing more tense by the second- she wanted to kill her mate quickly, not wanting him to suffer too much just because she couldn't stand any part of him.
But does anyone notice?
But does anyone care?
And if I had the guts to put this to your head...
And would anything matter if you're already dead?

Soren waited, just in case Pellimore didn't do any more, but she- not shaking at all now- flew straight at him. He closed his eyes tight. He hated how he was so surprised about Peli saying she hated him...
And now should I be shocked by the last thing you said?

Sighing, Soren let Pellimore fly to him close enough to sink her claws into his wing.
Before I pull this trigger,
Your eyes vacant and stained...

But he couldn't let Pelli go against Ga'hoole and join the Pure Ones- he wasn't sure she would, but if she had done this...he hated his talons now, which gleamed in the late dawn light with Ezylryb's battle claws...
Before I pull this trigger,
Your eyes vacant and stained...
And in saying you loved me,
Made things harder at best.
And these words changing nothing
As your body remains,
And there's no room in this hagsmire,
There's no room in the next,
And our memories defeat us,
And I'll end this direst.

He finally opened his eyes when he heard Gylfie's and Coryn's voices asking what happened, gasping.

But does anyone notice?
But does anyone care?
And if I had the guts to put this to your head...
But does anything matter if you're already dead?
And should I be shocked now by the last thing you said?
Before I pull this trigger,
Your eyes vacant and stained...

He narowed his eyes at Pellimore, wishing it was all a dream ,wishing she would wake up..
And in saying you loved me,
Made things harder at best,
And these words changing nothing
As your body remains,
And there's no room in this hagsmire,
There's no room in the next
But does anyone notice there's a corpse in this bed?

....And knowing that it wasn't and she wouldn't as he saw the blood on his battle claws.

This is How I Disappear (requested by Optimus Nyra)(sequel to "Early Sunsets Over Monroevile")

I kind of did Neon's suggestion..
Note: Lyrics will be bold and italic since there's lots of italic scroom dialogue and flashbacks.
♦♦♦

Soren gulped as Coryn flew into his hollow. He had asked Peli what was the best time, and she said as soon as Coryn went into his hollow next time. She said he'll be busy- and he knew she was telling the truth. She was just a scroom- no stress disorders, no Nyra, no reason to lie.
They'll see the note, he remided himself, flying away from his home.

GO!

His heart racing, his eyes glowed with anticipation when he reached Silverveil. Soren hastily got some good sticks for a fire.
GO!

To un-explain the unforgivable,
Drain all the blood and give the kids a show.
By streetlight this dark night,
A séance down below.

He wondered what Pellimore, his dear late mate, would say..
or did she already know what he was doing?
Well, she did.

There're things that I have done,
You never should ever know!
And without you is how I disappear,
And live my life alone forever now.
And without you is how I disappear,
And live my life alone forever now.

♦♦♦♦
Coryn replaced his moss, sighing and getting ready for bed. He was unsusually cold, and he puffed up his feathers. Closing his eyes, he shivered more. Slowly, the temperature dropped atleast thirty-six degrees, then double that. As he opened his eyes to fly out of his hollow and look for more moss, he could just barely see the opening of his hollow. Mist blocked it, mist that was more opaque than transclucent. Dread filled his gizzard instanty, immediatly rememberd the last time his suuroundings were so familar. He thought he was gone..well, technically he was gone, but gone gone..like, couldn't bother him. But the outline of his beakless, scarred, nearly featherless, and scarred face slowly yet surely appeared, along with his mate's: Nyra.

Who walks among the famous living dead,
Drowns all the boys and girls inside your bed.

You had a choice. That was Kludd.
Coryn swallowed. It was so obvious what his parents were going to say it wasn't even funny- or so he thought.
And we know how hard it is, Nyra said, which would've made Coryn gasp, but he couldn't speak or move .
♦♦♦
Soren waited patiently for the fire to grow, the flames practically reaching for him ominously as if to pull him in. He thought more and more and more about Peli.

And if you could talk to me,
Tell me if it's so,
That all the good girls go to heaven.
Well, heaven knows!

That without you is how I disappear,
And live my life alone forever now.
And without you is how I disappear,
And live my life alone forever now.

♦♦♦
"How?!" Coryn demanded politely- the fact that he could demand something in a polite way an oxy-moron.
I lost Pellimore, you, Nyra- and you lost me, Pellimore, Nyra, and soon Sore-
Coryn heard most of it, saw Kludd's satisfied expression..read the hole where his beak had been..he extended his talons and pounced like a bobcat at his father's scroom.
The talons passed right through and into the bark of the hollow, the mist disappearing entirely and the hollow temperate much warmer.
Coryn didn't know what to do first, extremely anxious. Soren had said he'd be gone..but not permanatly- but he didn't say temporary, either.
I have to go somewhere, okay, Coryn?
"Soren!" Corn Barn Owl-shreiked, flapping hastily and away from his island.
They can still hurt me, he thought. Physically or not.

Can you hear me cry out to you?
Words I thought I'd choke on figure out.
I'm really not so with you anymore.
I'm just a ghost,
So I can't hurt you anymore,
So I can't hurt you anymore.

No, Nyra and Kludd can't, Coryn forced himself to think. They're just two scrooms!
No, three scrooms..Pellimore..

Getting farther and farther from the Sea of Hoolemere, something gray caught his eye. It was something he loved, something that his late friend Phillip loathed..he really knew how Phillip felt now.
Several owls- a Great Gray, a Fish Owl, and a Boreal- were putting out the fire with sand. The smoke and flames lessened.

And now, you wanna see how far down I can sink?
Let me go, frink!
So, you can, well now so, you can
I'm so far away from you.
Well now so, you can.

He landed, trying to put everything together.
Nyra and Kludd wanted Soren to die..Peli wanted to be with him, so agreed, but didn't directly tell her former mate. It was mostly a selfish act. Soren got encouraged by her occasional visits- which was her unfinished buissness, being a former Pure One..and Soren willingly made this decision..

And without you is how I disappear,
And without you is how I disappear,
Whoa whoa... (And without you is how I disappear)
Whoa whoa... (And without you... is how, is how, is how...)

Coryn stepped closer to look at the ashes and Barn Owl feathers.
Forever, forever now!

Gylfielicious (reqiested by Inglantine)

He left a letter? And an unspeficic one at that!

The thought blasted in Gylfie's head. Cuffyn just wrote a letter saying that he was more comfortable with being a Glauxian Brother..after three years.
She couldn't really think clearly- a habit when she was this mad- and stormed out of the hollow, panting as she landed on inthe kitchen hollow. Pausing for a minute or two to think more about what she was about to do, she stepped up to the cook.
"Can I have some Bingle Juice? Twilight, Digger, and some other friends need it," she rolled her eyes. "So I need a lot."
The cook was surprised at first as Gylfie only drunk on special occasions, but nodded and brought back enough bingl juice for a couple of owls. She thanked him, and hastily flew out with the wooden pitcher and cups.
Hiding at the back of her hollow, she gulped down cups and cups, too much for an owl like Twilight- and she was a very small owl. Well, she could now think cheerful thoughts now..even though it was hard to think and her vision was so blurry...
Soren. Before meeting Pellimore, Soren had asked her if...if they could be mates, despite their different species. She apoligized and said she couldn't, and he was silent for days. Even though he had a mate and chicks now, there was a possibility...
She flew crookedly out of her hollow again, almost missing Soren's hollow. Luckily he wasn't there. She immediatly started:
"R-rember when you asked me if you wanted to be-"
"Yes." Soren gulped- what happened to Cuffyn?
Listen up you all, 'cause this is it
The beat that I'm bangin' is delicious

Fergalicious definition make them boys go loco

"Well, Cuffyn's a mooncalf, so maybe.." her eyelids fluttered flirtily, and if owls could move their pubils, she would have googly eyes. "C'mon, Peli's another mooncalf..I'm better than her..I've known you longer, and have twice the brains."
Gylfie and Peli were good friends, yet she describing her rudely. Soren blinked, completely nonplussed.
"Um, sure," he lied.
"I knew you'd say that!" Gylfie said cheerfully, flying crookedly out of her friend's hollow after preening him rushedly.
-----
When news spread that Cuffyn left, various male Elf Owls had asked Gylfie to the Harvest Festval Dance.

Fergalicious definition make them boys go loco
They want my treasure so they get their pleasures from my photo.
You could see me, you can't squeeze me.
I ain't easy, I ain't sleazy.
I got reasons why I tease 'em.
Boys just come and go like seasons.

She said yes to all of them, forgetting about each date a few minutes after agreeing.

"C'mon, wet popper," Gylfie teased Fred, one of her dates, playfully, and they danced.
"Gotta go, Soren!" Gylfie said, mixing up names. She fly away, bumping into Soren and falling down from her unstableness under bingle juice.
"Gylfie! Are you okay?" Soren asked, leaning down and helping his best friend up.
"Never been better..um..Soren.."Gylfie reassured dizzily, and Soren smelled the aroma of bingle juice and wrinked the feathers around his beak.
"You've been drinking?"
Gylfie was busy preening Soren's feathers, and wasn't able to do two things at once.

Fergalicious (so delicious)
But I ain't promiscuous.
And if you were suspicious,
All that racdrops is fictitious.
I blow kisses (mmmwwahhh)
That puts them boys on rock, rock.
And they be lining down the block just to watch what I got (four, tres, two, uno)

"'Nearly over? Gotta go!" she said instead, winking and flying over to another owl, dancing with him before he realized it. Soren narrowed his eyes, and followed. Gylfie was churring and fliving like a chick.

So delicious (it's hot, hot)
So delicious (I put them boys on rock, rock)
So delicious (they wanna slice of what I got)
I'm Fergalicious (t-t-t-t-t-tasty, tasty)

Gylfie soun around and pushed Gerry to the back of the hollow while still olding on to him.
"Fantastic, right?" she asked, panting.
He wrinkled his facial feathers, scenting bingle juice. He flew off, not really wanting to hang out with Gylfie anymore.
Gylfie was leaning onto him, and fell in another's feathers. She looked up, seeing Lucus, another Elf Owl who wasn't her date.
"So..."he began, not sure what to say.
Gylfie churred, preening him. He sighed happily.

Fergalicious def-,
Fergalicious def-,
Fergalicious def- ["def" is echoing]
Fergalicious definition make them boys go crazy.
They always claim they know me,
Comin' to me call me Stacy (Hey, Stacy),
I'm the F to the E, R, G, the I, the E,
And can't no other lady put it down like me.

"You're pretty awesome," Lucus complimented, and Gylfie churred again, and pulled him over to dance.

I'm Fergalicious
So delicious,
My body stay vicious
I be up in the gym just working on my fitness
He's my witness (oh, wee)
I put yo' boy on rock, rock
And he be lining down the block just to watch what I got (four, tres, two, uno)

Lucus flew back slightly.
"What's the matter?" Gylfie asked, practicaly purring.
"You've been drinking..and you look naseous.."
"Don't be silly," Gylfie purred, jumping in the air and gesturing with her wing for him to come closer.
"Oh, nedd to go! See ya later-" Gylfie quickly preened Lucus and flew off, but then stopped in mid-air.
"Gillgie!" Lucus cried, not even knowing his dancing partner's name. He flew over and caught her just as she started falling and began vomiting.
"You okay?" he asked gentlywhen she finally stopped, but she was unconcious in his wings.
"GYLFIE!" Soren rushed over after seeing what happened. He shook her, and she woke up only to get naseous again.
"Stop spinning me, please!" she begged, though Soren wasn't moving her any more. It felt like there was an earthquake, and she collasped again, but was still awake.
"S..imon..?"
"It's Soren." Soren swallowed- how much did she drink?
"Sorry." Gylfie apoligized. Though she was always a pretty owl, now her feathers were sweaty and covered in vomit, her eyes were blank, and her expression was some what deformed.

So delicious (aye, aye, aye, aye)
So delicious (aye, aye, aye, aye)
So delicious (aye, aye, aye, aye)
I'm Fergalicious, t-t-t-t-t tasty, tasty
It's so delicious (aye, aye, aye, aye)
So delicious (aye, aye, aye, aye)
So delicious (aye, aye, aye, aye)
I'm Fergalicious, t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t (aye, aye, aye, aye)

"In..firmery.."she gasped, and Soren couldn't believe he didn't think if that already- and he was the one thinking clearly!
Gylfie was churring slightly, but it was more of a fake laugh.

T to the A, to the S T Y - girl, you're tasty. T to the A, to the S T Y - girl, you're tasty
T to the A, to the S T Y - girl, you're tasty. T to the A, to the, to the (four, tres, two, uno)
D to the E, to the L I C I O U S, to the D, to the, E to the, L I C I O U S, to the
D to the E, to the L I C I O U S, to the D, to the E, to the, to the, to the (four, tres, two, uno)

D to the E, to the L I C I O U S, to the D, to the E, to the, to the, to the, to the, to the.....

She tried to get out of Soren's talons, but the hollow spun, and she gave up, scolding herself mentally as much as she could.
"You're still my friend- but definately not my mate," Soren chuckled/reassured, as he flew nto the infimery.

I Don't Love You (requested by dragowl)

Hoole was on top of the world. Tired, yes, but the hagsfiends and Lord Arrin gone! Ga'hoole was powerful and safe! And he couldn't wait to talk to Lutta. Now was one of those times whre he was so glad Flickryn healed her. The blow Strix Strumajen gave her wasn't as fatal as they all thought. And now, her wounds had healed enough so he could ask her this important question.
"Hello, Joss," Hoole hooted.
"Helllo, Your Grace-" Hoole mentally groaned- "I have some..bad news."
He left immediatly after handing Hoole the letter. Nonplussed- how could there be bad news after the victorious war?- Hoole slowly ripped it open.
Well, when you go
Don't ever think I'll make you try to stay

Hoole was falling. Well, not really..but he felt like that, and it was all he could do from going yeep.

To Hoole,

You think I love you? I don't. I'm a hagsfiend- I hate all owls.

Sorry,
Lutta

Hoole, almost in the yeep state, couldn't even tell the fishy thing about the letter. He just believed it straight away- why else couldn't he find her all day?
And maybe when you get back
I'll be off to find another way

..So he threw the shreds into the Sea of Hoolemere, though he didn't get the effect of papers raging towards the wate- they floated down in a quiescent way.

And after all this time that you still owe
You're still the good-for-nothing I don't know
So take your gloves and get out
Better get out
While you can

----
Lutta landed on the Ice Dagger with no caution to where she landed. Her heart was beating fast in her chest when the hasty flight, and wanted to stop pounding all together for and because of Hoole. Every beat sounded so tedious and mocking.
Dumb Hoole with his lousy note and lousy guardians chasing her out when they heard the news.
When you go
Would you even turn to say
"I don't love you
Like I did,
Yesterday."

She just realized how dumb she herself was. She was on the Ice Dagger, an island with very sharp pieces of ice, there were scars on her chest..tears rolled into her cheek feathers when she reminded herself that the healers hadwasted their time saving her. But she stopped when she realized that Hoole didn't want her to do this..so she didn't do it.
Sometimes I cry so hard from pleading
So sick and tired of all the needless beating
But baby when they knock you
Down and out
It's where you oughta stay

..And with that Lutta lanched herself into the air. I wonder where thise gadfeathers usually meet...

Two years later..
"Hoole," Emerilla asked, her voice cracking, "May I speak to you?"
Hoole flew over to the nest where Emerilla sat on their eggs.
"Yes?"
"Remember Lutta?"
"Unfortunatly," he muttered, turning his head down to lookat the ground as owls couldn't move their pubils.
"And the letter?"
"Y-y-y-y-y-y-yes...."
"Well, I didn't write it-"
"Well, she wrote it, of course!" Hoole interrupted. "It wasn't your handwriting anyway!"
"Exactly...well, it was a week after the war, and she had just healed."
"Emmy, what are you leading to..."
"Well," Emerilla started..
Hoole wouldn't been yeep if he were flying.
And after all the blood that you still owe
Another dollar's just another blow
So fix your eyes and get up
Better get up
While you can

"Are you sure?" he practically choled/
"Yes. Certain. I'm sorry, Hoole," Emerilla whispered.

When you go
Would you even turn to say
"I don't love you
Like I did
Yesterday"

"...Do you still love me, Hoole?" Emerilla asked nervously and cautiously.
"Of course, Emmy!" Hoole hooted, out of the yeep trance he was in. "Always."
Like she would for me.., he thought

I don't love you
Like I loved you
Yesterday

I don't love you
Like I loved you
Yesterday

Hoole thought about what Emerilla had said, and couldn't believe he was so stupid- "Lutta didn't know how to write and didn't know anyone who would do a favor for her."

Fallen Leaves (requested by Otulissa96)

He flew so fast that he nearly collasped on the branch. Sorenn gasped in air and looked behind him at his two best friends- Gylfie and Twilight.
"Let's rest-" Twilight started, interrupted by Soren.
"No! Keep going!"
"You might not even find your family," Twilight retorted.

In a crooked little town, they were lost and never found
Fallen leaves, fallen leaves, fallen leaves... on the ground

I hitched a ride, until the coast
To leave behind, all of my ghosts
Searching for something, I couldn't find at home

Soren spun around and faced Twilight- how dare he?! "At least I hatched with parents! You had to escape a St. Aggie's patrol, and then grounded! And then you grew up with foxes!"
"I also lived with falcons, eagles, badgers.." Twilight countered again, extending his claws..
"Guys! Stop!" Gylfie piped up, and the two finally stopped fraying.
---
"It's one of the fallen!" a Sooty Owl whispered.
"No- just another one of those imposter fellows," a Grass Owl whispered back.
Soren titled his head, and heard the conversation.
"Fallen?" Soren asked, but they seemed to not have heard hime. Well, of course they heard him, they were tytos with awesome hearing! They were just too obsorbed in gossip about fallen things.
In a crooked little town, they were lost and never found
Fallen leaves, fallen leaves, fallen leaves... on the ground

"Sorry, buddy," a giant Masked Owl blocked Soren, Gylfie, and Twilight. "No fallen imposters-"
[i]

Can't get no job, can you spare a dime?
Just one more hit, and I'll be fine
I swear to God, this'll be my one last time!

In a crooked little town, they were lost and never found
Fallen leaves, fallen leaves, fallen leaves... on the ground
Run away before you drown, or the streets will beat you down
Fallen leaves, fallen leaves, fallen leaves... on the ground

"What exactly do you mean?!" Gylfie asked, and as the Masked Owl guard started to explain, Soren used this opportunity to sneak past, which he did stealthily.

Forsome reason, he stared down at the exact spots near the roots of his old tree where he had fell for a while before lookig up at the female Barn Owl.
"Ma! Da!" Soren screeched, flying up to his parents.
"Ma," Soren whispered, and Marilla turned around.
"I've been captured by St. Aggioes- and Kludd pushed me-and.."
Marilla groaned. "Not again. Not another imposter."
"What?"

"Let me tell you something- my son was taken by K-Metal Beak and killed," she gasped between sobs. "Enough with the fledgings coming here, saying 'I'm Soren' just to endthe crisises."
Soren stared. His mother seriously didn't recongnize him?
Marilla flew back inside the hollow and landed on a nest- of eggs.

Did she just give up? Forget about her youngest chicks, who were supposedly dead, and her treachurous first chick? Then have more eggs? Would she lie to those chicks?
"Where's Eglantine-"
"You all know perfectly well! There was a female masked owl trying to pass as her this morning!" Marilla retorted.
"Where's Da?" Soren asked anxiously- Noctus might believe/recingnize him. She sobed. "You know pefectly welwhat happened to late Noctus!"
Soren gasped and nearly fell off the perch. Am I going yeep? he picked himself up at the k=last second and flew over to Gylfie and Twilight.
"The 'fallen ones' are the grounded owlets that were kidnapped by St. Aggies," Gylfie said quietly. "Everyone thinks they're dead, and some died for them."

When it gets dark, in Pigeon Park
Voice in my head, will soon be fed
By the vultures, that circle round the dead!

In a crooked little town, they were lost and never found
Fallen leaves, fallen leaves, fallen leaves... on the ground
Run away before you drown, or the streets will beat you down
Fallen leaves, fallen leaves, fallen leaves... on the ground

Soren sighed. "Let's just go!"
Reluctantly, his friends followed.

I never once thought, I'd ever be caught!
Staring at sidewalks, hiding my track marks!
I left my best friends, or did they just leave me?

"Maybe we'll have better luck with your parents, Gylfie", Twilight muttered.

In a crooked little town, they were lost and never found
Fallen leaves, fallen leaves, fallen leaves... on the ground
In a crooked little town, they were lost and never found
Fallen leaves, fallen leaves, fallen leaves... on the ground
Run away before you drown, or the streets will beat you down
Fallen leaves, fallen leaves, fallen leaves... on the ground

Run away before you drown!
Fallen leaves, fallen leaves, fallen leaves... on the ground
Run away before you drown!
Fallen leaves, fallen leaves, fallen leaves... on the ground

In The Shadows (requested by Otulissa96)

No sleep
No sleep until I am done with finding the answer
Won't stop
Won't stop before I find a cure for this cancer
Sometimes
I feel I going down and so disconnected

Bell couldn't take it, sleeping in the Infirmery all night and day because she has a few scars- well, they did hurt, but that was besides the point...
She stealthily crept out of the new and flapped her way out of the hollow, muttering, "Ow" as the cold air found her scars and stitches.
She hated owls proteting her and risking their lives for that- and she hated being called, "Soren's Daughter" instead of Bell- Basha and Blythe might feel the same way..
Somehow,
I know that I am haunted to be wanted

She then stopped. I'm such an idiot- I forgot battle claws! she mentally scolded herself, flyinng to the Armory.
Just as she picked up a pair of elgeant, sharp, NAST battle claws, she dropped them.
"I seriously think I can fight...?!"
"Do you hear someone in the armory..?" Soren asked Coryn, and Bella panicked before hiding behind armor.

I've been watching
I've been waiting
In the shadows all my time
I've been searching
I've been living
For tomorrows all my life

WAIT! she screeched inside her head and flew out of the hollow.
"Is that Bell...?"
"Of course it is!" Coryn interrupted his uncle. "Bell, what are you doing?! You have some bad scars.."
Bell ignored the king and flew to the other side of the tree. Pure Ones and the rest of the enemy spotted her.
"Soren's Daughter!" a Barn Owl bellwed, and she groaned before diving down into Bubo's hollow. Fortunatly, he wasn't there, and she immediatly began searching. Finally, she found a green, blue, and orange ball of light. She smiled before flying out and into the dark evening.

Lately I been walking walking in circles, watching waiting for something
Feel me touch me heal me, come take me higher

I've been watching
I've been waiting
In the shadows all my time

..And she suddenly realized that fighting didn't matter- well, usually in war yes, but havung tis iea, she wasted months for nothing..

I've been searching
I've been living
For tomorrows all my life

Lately I been walking walking in circles, watching waiting for something
Feel me touch me heal me, come take me higher

..And with that she flew up hastily. Then she dropped the ember into the sea.
She heard a shreik, and the moon started flying at heer- well, it was really Nyra..
Extending her claws, she thrust forward just as Coryn came in.
Bell just closed her eyes until it was over, wondering if Coryn abd her would die.

I've been watching
I've been waiting
In the shadows all my time
I've been searching
I've been living
For tomorrows all my life
I've been watching
I've been waiting
I've been searching
I've been living for tomorrows

Finaly, there was a shreik, and with that the war ended as well as thelife of the tyrant.

In the shadows

In the shadows
I've been waiting

To The End (requested by dragowl)

Bell acted very optimistic and cheerful that night. You couldn't blame her- she had gotten into so much trouble lately, but she still had her Guardian ceremony for her fighting skills in that small battle near The Beaks. She didn't even notice when she drank a good deal of a considerable amount of amnesthesia.
"Soren, can I please go to my nest?" Bell beseeched, exhausted.
"Your ceremony isn't over. Why would you want to delay it? And you went to your nest early yesterday and it's barely close to dawn now," Soren said, ushering his daughter to come back in the hollow where her ceremony was taking place. They were currently outside that hollow of the Great Tree, perched on a branch.
"I'm tired," Bell complained again.
"C'mon, lets go back inside," Soren said, but Bell had passed out.
He calls the mansion not a house but a tomb.
He's always choking from the stench and the fume.

♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦
"Amnesthesia-"
"My daughter was poisoned?"
"Well, she won't die. But she probably won't wake up today," the matron reassured.
The matron had been called, and interrupted the ceremony. Eyes widened as they heard that Bell had been drugged...

The wedding party all collapsed in the room.
So send my resignation to the bride and the groom.

Oh, and a Short-Eared owl had escaped that night.

Various owls had followed him in an attempt to capture him, esecially after the rest of the amnesthesia had been found in a vial. There was enough left to- including the amount Bella drunk- was enough to be fatal, the matron had said.
Bella was sent to the infirmiry because the drug could affect her more, being a young owl. She might even be in a coma- which made it all the easier for the antagonist, but they're the antagonist, so...

He stealthily flew into the hollow, reaching out a talon to touch her face.

So send my resignation to the bride and the groom.
Let's go down!
This elevator only goes up to ten.
He's not around.
He's always looking at men
Down by the pool.
He doesn't have many friends.
As they are
Face down and bloated snap a shot with the lens.

He wasn't allowed there, and Soren will surely get revenge on him if he knew what he was doing...and most of his allies wouldn't be his allies anymore.
"Bell," Striga whispered, shaking and shoving her. "Bell-"
No, you're acting like an idiot," he thought. [i]She'll surely scream when she sees me and alert some owls...
He'll ask her in his hollow, then.
He picked up Bess- though she was older than the last time he did this, he was still much bigger- and, after guaranteeing to himself that he wouldn't drop her, he flew off.
He daydreamed on the way. His daydream- or, rather nightdream for owls- was her saying yes.

If you marry me,
Would you bury me?
Would you carry me to the end?

(So say goodbye) to the vows you take
(And say goodbye) to the life you make
(And say goodbye) to the heart you break
And all the cyanide you drank!

When he finally arrived, he preened her over and over, caught prey, and made a plain nest- no fancy moss; he hated vanities.
He thought about it a few times: She was young, her alliance was Ga'hoole, she had a famous family, she herself was practically famous...

She keeps a picture of the body she lends.
Got nasty blisters from the money she spends.
She's got a life of her own and it shows by the Benz
She drives at 90 by the Barbies and Kens!

....fat chance she'll say yes.

Striga then realized/remembered that he could try to wake her up now. He sunk his talons into her- very deeply- and she stirred with a jolt.
"Stop!" she muttered and gasped in pain. She glared at her capturer and alarm clock.

If you ever say "never too late",
I'll forget all the diamonds you ate.
Lost in coma and covered in cake.
Increase the medication,
Share the vows at the wake.
(Kiss the bride)

"Strigy...Striga!" she was wide awake now- if she wasn't before at Strigas violent method of waking her, that is- and furious. She whimpered. "You-how..."
"Bell, let me ask you something-"
"You'll ask me nothing!"
Striga leaned in and grabbed Bella's talon with his in a gesture that was supposed to be romantic.
"I will," he stated clearly, and then," Will you be my mate?"

(And say goodbye) to the last parade
(And walk away) from the choice you made
(And say goodnight) to the heart you break
And all the cyanide you drank.

(So say goodbye) to the vows you take
(And say goodbye) to the life you make
(And say goodbye) to the heart you break
And all the cyanide you drank.

Bell- arrogant before about her ceremony- thought her heart stopped for a second. Know, not thought- she stopped thinking for a second as well before thinking:
You can't say no. He'll kill Mum, Da, Blythe, Sabastiana..
She mentally smirked. If owls had lightbulbs, she would've imagined a lightbulb go on above her head.
She had the ember.
She had the Striga.
She could make the Striga be exactly what she loved before and what she wanted.

(And say goodbye) to the last parade
(And walk away) from the choice you made
(And say goodnight) to the heart you break
And all the cyanide you drank.

To the last parade
When the parties fade
And the choice you made
To the End.

"Yes," she said.

The Bitter End (requested by <_Mikey_>)

(This is partly a sequel to "To The End"...)

Nyra waited impatiently. The eclipse was nearly here, and Kludd needed to come back. Soren needed to be the sacrifice. If she could kill an owl for a sacrifice right during the eclipse and had Kludd’s Final Ceremony ashes, then…she felt anticipation whenever she thought of the possibilities. Maybe it would’ve been wiser to resurrect Kreeth first, who was the professional in such spells, but Nyra wanted Kludd back now, no matter how much times she tried to convince herself to think first.

She waited for a few more minutes…her battled-clawed talons sunk into the bark of the branch in more impatience. Thanks to her slipgizzles, she had learned that Soren had planned an invasion of her base today at this time. He would be the perfect sacrifice.. But where was he?

Then, though hard to see in the dark-blue and cloudy night, she spotted the outline of the Striga.

If owls could smile, Nyra‘s would be flamboyous and wide with felicity.
♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦
A few minutes before…
Relief and sorrow filled Bell when Striga had left. Bell-ever since Striga had captured her and asked-or rather unspoken-ly forced- her to be his mate. She took a quick glance at the scars on her wings from abuse. They looked serious and harsh, thick, ugly…and all synonyms of that.

Bell also felt light-headed from the amnesthesia that she had to drink frequently. She was downright mistreated by the Striga, and yet...she knew he actually loved her, but in an uncaring way- if that phrase made sense. No, the perfect word was cruel for how the Striga treated her. He had moodswings, too- he was usually loving and protective towards her, but then abusive and cruel.

Since we're feeling so anesthetised,
In our comfort zone,
Reminds me of the second time
That I followed you home.

Well, saying yes was better than saying no- she probably wouldn’t be alive then, as well as the rest of her family. Her scroom wouldn’t and couldn’t bear that. She also couldn’t bear this one thought she had stuck in her mind all day…suddenly, the word “alive” sounded ominous in her head, and even more ominous the more she thought about this.

I have an excuse for doing that: it’s nothing compared to what Striga does, Bell thought. It would be more than a relief than a pain…
It’s still a sin, no matter what’ll feel like to me.
She thought hard- which itself was challenging, being so light-headed and sleepy- then decided. Gulping and flying as if in slow motion, she flew out of the hollow- it will be too late for Striga to punish her when he found out.
We're running out of alibi's
On the second of may
Reminds me of the summertime
On this winters day.

See you at the bitter end,
See you at the bitter end.

Fortunately and unfortunately, she knew exactly where to get the poison. You know- for the sin, obviously.

Nyra gulped. “S-striga, go…” she was speechless in giving a command for once.

Soren isn’t here. Just use the blue mooncalf.
For some reason, though, she couldn’t bring herself to do it. What the frinking hags mire is frinking wrong with me?!
Finally, she charged.

Every step we took that synchronized

…And he pinned her to the ground.

Every broken bone

Nyra pushed him away, flapped back up, and paused. She thought of Kludd for a few seconds…especially when they first met, in Tyto. Then she compared that to memories of the Striga…Kludd was better. Yet she still couldn’t bring herself to do…

Reminds me of the second time,
That I followed you home!
You showered me with lullabies.

And, before she could decide, Striga had fallen to the ground.
Her eyes widened so much that they nearly bulged out of her head, and she bent down. Still breathing…slow, rapid breaths, until they stopped altogether.
She didn’t seriously hurt him…did she? She focused her attention on the eclipse instead. One precious minute…he had died too soon. She couldn’t find a sacrifice in a minute…
Wait, yes she could.

Reminds me that its killing time
On this fateful day

See you at the bitter end,
See you at the bitter end!

Hesitating- Don’t hesitate for the High Tyto, she thought- Nyra thrust her battle clawed talons into her chest.
And into her heart.

From the time we intercepted
Feels alot like suicide.
Slow and sad, getting sadder…
Arise a sitting mine,
See you at the bitter end.

She gasped once, before her corpse falling to the forest floor- she was doing this in the Breaks- and hastily disintergrated.

Not breathing doesn’t nessarcarily mean you’re dead, and it wasn’t until a second or so after Nyra died did Striga’s heart stop. And not a second too late.

The ashes in the pile decreased- Kreeth’s ashes were there as well- and as the bodies of the Barn Owl and Blue Owl disintergrated, a Barn Owl and a hagsfiend appeared.

I love to see you run around
And i can see you now
Running to me
Arms wide out

Kludd stared as his mate dissolved before his eyes…

See you at the bitter end.
Reach inside,
Come on just gotta reach inside,
Heard your cry,
Six months time,
Six months time,
Prepare the end,

And glanced at his future General Mam and replacement Nyra- Kreeth.
See you at the bitter end.
