Hey, this is probably a long shot but does anyone know a book series (probably from the 80's but definitely pre 1995) about a boy who has a owl sidekick and they communicate with each other telepathically? The name of the books does not have Owl in the title and in one of the books the owl is kidnapped. I am looking for this for a friend and he didnít give me much info. If anyone knows this book please post here, thanks.

Here are some books that I know its NOT:

The Books of Magic
Chronicles Of Narnia
Harry Potter Series
Owl Mage Trilogy
Guardians Of Ga'Hoole
The Owl Service
The Blegarid Series
The Cheysuli Chronicles
Clash Of The Titans
