I have yet to read these but they are on my list. Apparently there is a boy who bonds magically with an intelligent owl, and the books are about him. (I still have a ton of books to get through before I get to those. x_x)

I think I saw it in a bookstore once! It looks interesting. I'll have to look out for it.
